Get More News Faster with Drupal and Managing News
I have been testing out the Managing News flavor of Drupal for a while, and yesterday decided to add a new Drupal news subdomain to Drupalservers.net and power it with Managing News. You can now get even more Drupal news beyond just what we currently feature on this site in the Drupal news section. I have already added 20+ feeds that have important roles in the community, or are great sources of Drupal information.
What is Managing News?
If you haven't heard of Managing News before, it is basically a customized version of Drupal that specifically aims at making it easy to aggregate news from mulitple RSS feeds. It was developed by Development Seed for news teams and research teams to follow specific topics closely. It was also designed to allow easy printing of any of the news content it aggregates, which is what is so useful for news outlets.
Development Seed has some other interesting projects that use Drupal as their core, so I will be continuing to follow up periodic updates about the Managing News project, which is available from ManagingNews.com and all sorts of other great Drupal flavors.
