Zen is the ultimate starting theme for Drupal. If you are building your own standards-compliant theme, you will find it much easier to start with Zen than to start with Garland or Bluemarine. This theme has fantastic online documentation and tons of code comments for both the PHP (template.php) and HTML (page.tpl.php, node.tpl.php).

Wedding Bells is a open source, GPL licensed Wordpress theme that I ported to be a Drupal 6 theme. The original theme was created by Lauri Liimatta. It is the perfect Drupal theme for a Drupal wedding blog or wedding photograhy website.

I have released Wedding Bells as a beta, but it is so far fully stable for me on my testing websites, so feel free to download it and report any bugs to me.

Solemnity is a free web template I found recently on an open source web template site. I thought it was a GPL theme as no license was attached, but after looking at the original author's website, it turns out that it is has a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 3.0 United States License.

This crisp and clean layout was just ported to a Drupal 6 theme the other day by Arbor Web Development. It currently is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0. This template was originally created by Node Thirty Three Designs. I am still working out some kinks, but it is a pretty solid theme so far. I have changed my Drupal theme port to a beta release for the time being, as I have other features planned for the theme.

Gulmohar is a Zen sub-theme, suitable for personal blogs, literature & poetry websites.

You need to havea Zen installed in order to use Gulmohar.
